Your new role
As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will lead and mature the internal DevOps capability. You will provide expert production support, partner with delivery teams on complex DevOps tasks, and develop a capability roadmap to uplift engineering practices.
You will automate and stabilise environment deployments, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and work with modern technologies such as AWS, containerisation, serverless, and contemporary development stacks. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting‑edge tools and contribute to meaningful digital transformation initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive DevOps support experience in production environments, including backup/recovery, monitoring, and alerting.
5–8 years of systems administration experience.
Strong cloud experience with AWS core services (IAM, VPC, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Route53, CloudFront, CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB).
Understanding of AWS security principles and best practices.
Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
Proficiency in building and maintaining Docker images.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo CI, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
Experience with AWS Serverless technologies.
Experience with long‑term operation, monitoring, and upgrading enterprise software.
Familiarity with AWS CDK and Troposphere.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking, and protocols.
Knowledge of DDoS mitigation, IPS/IDS, and Web Application Firewalls.
Strong coding/scripting skills (Java, Python, Bash).
Understanding of web and API development.
Strong experience with source control (preferably Git) and disaster recovery design/implementation.
