Your new role

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive DevOps support experience in production environments, including backup/recovery, monitoring, and alerting.
• 5–8 years of systems administration experience.
• Strong cloud experience with AWS core services (IAM, VPC, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Route53, CloudFront, CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB).
• Understanding of AWS security principles and best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Proficiency in building and maintaining Docker images.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo CI, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Experience with AWS Serverless technologies.
• Experience with long‑term operation, monitoring, and upgrading enterprise software.
• Familiarity with AWS CDK and Troposphere.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking, and protocols.
• Knowledge of DDoS mitigation, IPS/IDS, and Web Application Firewalls.
• Strong coding/scripting skills (Java, Python, Bash).
• Understanding of web and API development.
• Strong experience with source control (preferably Git) and disaster recovery design/implementation.

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools.
• A strong continuous improvement mindset aligned with industry best practice.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, including cost estimation for pipeline planning.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working with evolving information.
• Able to embrace change and maintain a focus on sustainability and support.

• Relevant certifications and training (highly regarded).
• Formal IT qualifications (highly regarded).
• AWS certifications (preferred).
