Your new role
Reporting to the Company Accountant, you will assist with a broad range of finance tasks including:
- Data entry in Xero and eTrack for all business transactions
- Preparation of monthly accounts receivable invoices
- Overseeing cash positions and recovery of outstanding debtors
- Processing payroll, superannuation and leave accruals
- Preparing and lodging BAS and payroll tax returns
- Reconciling bank accounts, petty cash and credit card transactions
- Assisting with financial reporting, insurance renewals and board papers
- Supporting HR processes including induction and termination documentation
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll bring a strong financial background, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Key requirements include:
- Experience with Xero (and ideally MYOB)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and under pressure during reporting periods
- Willingness to learn new systems such as eTrack
- Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience in payroll and financial reporting within a professional services environment will be highly regarded.
