Afternoon Shift Loader Operator

Afternoon Shift Hours: 1:50pm-9:26pm (with paid meal break)
Level 1 Base Pay Rate: $29.80 per hour
Additional Benefits: 25% casual loading, 15% afternoon shift loading

PPE Requirements:
  • Long cotton drill pants
  • Long sleeve high vis cotton drill shirts
  • Lace-up steel cap boots
We've got you covered with:
  • Hard hat
  • Safety glasses
  • Ear plugs
  • Gloves
  • Kevlar sleeves
Job Responsibilities:
  • Operating machines to cut and bend steel
  • Stacking finished products in racks or bulka bags
  • Overhead crane duties (no crane licence required)
  • Loading trucks with a 5T crane for multi-drop deliveries
Machine Operator Duties:
  • Operating bending machines for rebar
  • Using a sheer-line cutting machine
  • Handling off-coil machines for coiled rebar
  • Forklift operations
  • Organising job orders and truck runs
Other Responsibilities:
  • First aid officer
  • Stock take
  • Customer service for order retrieval
  • Unloading stock trucks and deliveries

No prior crane licence needed – onsite training and competency assessments are provided. Candidates with manufacturing or crane experience preferred.
