Valuations Officer

At NAB, we’re committed to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence for our customers. As a Valuations Officer, you’ll play a critical role in supporting NAB’s lending processes by ensuring valuations are accurate, compliant, and delivered efficiently.


What you’ll do:
In this detail-oriented and fast-paced role, you’ll manage valuation requests and ensure compliance with NAB’s standards. Your responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing valuation requests to confirm correct service type, fees, and escalation requirements.
  • Ensuring high-value valuation requests are supported by appropriate lending applications.
  • Managing work through a shared inbox and tracker, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communicating with bankers and brokers to clarify details and resolve queries.
  • Verifying ordered valuations, validating documents, and ensuring correct signatories.
  • Complying with the Banking Code of Practice and privacy requirements when sending valuation reports to customers.
  • Upgrading valuations when system-generated values requires further assessment.
  • Performing fee verification and occasional reporting tasks.

What’s in it for you?
  • Pay: $37.13 + Super
  • Work-Life Balance: Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (7.5 hours PD)
  • Hybrid: 2 Days per week in the office after 2 weeks' training
  • Initial Term: 6-month contract with strong potential for extension.
  • Location: 700 Bourke Street, Docklands

What we’re looking for:

  • Must be PR or Citizen
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to review and validate documents accurately.
  • Compliance Mindset: Understanding of privacy and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Experience: Previous experience in banking operations, lending support, or valuations is highly regarded.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication with bankers and brokers.
  • Tech Savvy: Confidence in navigating systems and shared trackers
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
