Your new role

As the Microsoft/Intune Specialist, you’ll lead the design, uplift, and implementation of the organisation’s Microsoft environment. This includes ensuring services such as M365, Azure, Power BI, Defender, and Intune are configured, secure, and aligned with best practices. You’ll play a key role in migrating on-premises services to the Microsoft Cloud, developing governance frameworks, and improving operational efficiency through automation using Power Automate and Power Apps. Collaboration with IT teams and stakeholders will be central to ensuring security and operational requirements are met.

What you'll need to succeed

• Specialist-level expertise in Microsoft Intune for device management and security
• Strong understanding of Microsoft services, including M365, Defender, Purview
• Proven experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
• Ability to design and implement secure configurations aligned with NSW Cybersecurity Policy and Essential Eight guidelines
• Experience with automation and process improvement using Power Automate and Power Apps
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders
