Your new role
- Manage end-to-end tender processes from concept through to contract execution.
- Provide expert commercial and procurement advice, ensuring probity and compliance.
- Develop business cases, briefing notes, and Board reports to support decision-making.
- Liaise with legal, financial, and probity advisors during contract formation and negotiation.
- Support contract managers throughout the contract lifecycle and ensure smooth handovers.
- Lead policy development and continuous improvement in tendering and contract management.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
- A relevant degree or industry certification with proven experience in procurement and tender processes.
- Strong project management skills and ability to influence outcomes.
- Extensive experience in government tendering and a detailed understanding of purchasing processes.
- Advanced analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail.
