Your new role

As an ETL Test Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise-scale data solutions. You’ll be responsible for designing, executing, and managing comprehensive testing processes across multiple projects, while providing expert guidance to stakeholders and project teams.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong working knowledge of Agile (Scrum) processes and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to lead efficient defect management
• Hands-on experience in data warehousing projects, including Source to Target Mapping, ELT concepts, SQL databases, and ETL pipeline testing
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL databases and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience working with large, complex Data Warehouses using the Microsoft BI Stack in Azure or other cloud environments
• Expertise in API integration testing and data load patterns

• Documenting comprehensive test plans and summaries
• Coordinating and executing testing activities to the highest standards
• Providing guidance to project stakeholders and business representatives
• Leading efficiency testing and coordinating non-functional testing (performance, accessibility, security)
• Crafting testing procedures, documents, peer reviews, and sign-offs
• Shaping and refining test cases, reviewing unit test cases and scripts in line with project objectives
• Executing test cases, coordinating testing efforts, and monitoring defect fixes
• Preparing and reviewing test result summaries, securing approvals
• Engaging dynamically with project teams and stakeholders to provide valuable insights
• Monitoring project progress and addressing deviations to keep delivery on track
• Creating regression test suites and managing automated test frameworks
