Your new role

As the Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will take ownership of the national accounts payable function, leading a small team to ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, employee expenses, and payment runs. You will drive process improvements, maintain compliance, and build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, coaching, and mentoring the AP team

• Managing end-to-end accounts payable processes

• Monitoring KPIs, allocating workloads, and resolving escalated queries

• Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls

• Identifying and driving automation opportunities

What you'll need to succeed

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience

• 3–5 years’ experience in accounts payable, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role

• Strong knowledge of AP processes, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and stakeholder management capabilities

• Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage high-volume environments
