  • Responsible for the successful execution of complex multifaceted projects.
  • The role requires setting the strategic vision of projects, managing complex stakeholder engagement, identifying and mitigating risks to projects and the workforce, and delivering project outcomes that increase shareholder value.
  • Manage the safe and successful delivery of projects through prototype, design, production, test phases and acceptance.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the project across the breadth of project controls, including administration, cost, schedule, risk, financial performance and contract/commercial management
  • Lead and manage accurate project budgeting and forecasting.
  • Implement right-sized project controls, Integrated Project Team collaboration, dashboards and reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

About you:
  • You must be willing to relocate as part of this role (phased relocation is supported).
  • Must have strong prior experience delivering complex and high-value defence projects.
  • Experience in high-value contract management for Defence clients.
  • Familiarity with Defence Acquisition Contracting processes
  • Experience managing a team of people, including employees, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen able to obtain clearance.
