A leading mining services organisation in Perth’s eastern suburbs is seeking a Category Specialist Procurement – Transport & Logistics/MRO to shape procurement strategy and deliver commercial impact across WA and NSW. This permanent role offers flexible hours and one day a week working from home.

Your new role
This is not a transactional role. The Category Specialist will drive procurement strategies, negotiate high‑value contracts, and ensure suppliers deliver against business priorities. With a strong focus on Transport & Logistics, the role demands commercial acumen, stakeholder influence, and the ability to turn market insights into measurable outcomes.

• Lead category planning and contract negotiations with senior stakeholders
• Build strategies that balance cost, risk, and long‑term value
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance and performance
• Monitor supplier delivery and drive continuous improvement
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience in advanced procurement category management across multiple categories.
• Extensive experience in the planning, development and/or management of high risk and complex contracts to meet the strategic and operational business needs within a complex organisation.
• Full-working rights in WA via Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
