Event Coordinator

Temporary Events Coordinator opportunity within state government.

Your new company

Our client is looking for an experienced Event Experience Coordinator to join their team on a 4-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

Your new role

  • Assist in coordinating event funding programs and assessing event proposals.

  • Manage sponsorships and ensure contractual obligations are met.

  • Plan and deliver event activations aligned with strategic objectives.

  • Support procurement processes and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Contribute to financial management, forecasting, and reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in event coordination within sports, arts, cultural or entertainment sectors.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including business case development.

  • Budget management and risk assessment experience.

  • Previous experience working in WA State government is preferred.
