With rapid growth across Australia, we are seeking an experienced National Business Development Manager to drive market expansion, forge strategic partnerships, and accelerate adoption of their industry-leading technology. Your new role

As the National BDM, you will be the face of VECOS across Australia. You will identify new opportunities, nurture strategic accounts, and drive enterprise-level sales across workplace, commercial real estate, education, and government sectors. You'll focus on acquiring and expanding strategic accounts with multinationals with over 50,000 employees worldwide, responsible for the entire direct sales process: from identifying prospects to closing deals with end customers, working closely with regional sales leaders, bid managers, project managers, and external partners such as dealers, architects, and IT consultants. This is a high-impact role suited to a proactive, strategic and consultative sales professional who thrives on building relationships and converting complex solutions into clear customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the national business development strategy to grow market share.

  • Proactively identify and pursue new enterprise and channel opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, architects, designers, integrators and channel partners.

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from discovery and solution design through to proposal, negotiation and close.

  • Collaborate with global teams on solution development, forecasting and market insights.

  • Represent VECOS at industry events, product presentations, and partner engagements.

  • Achieve revenue targets and drive long-term account growth.


What you'll need to succeed

You are an experienced sales professional with an international mindset and a sharp commercial instinct. You understand how to close complex deals within large organizations and feel at home in a dynamic, fast-growing environment. You effortlessly navigate cultures, stakeholders, and disciplines—from IT to architects and from local dealers to C-level decision-makers. You build long-term relationships with end customers and represent Vecos directly with strategic accounts worldwide.

  • Proven success in B2B solution sales, ideally in workplace technology, SaaS, commercial furniture, PropTech, security, or integrated building solutions.

  • Strong network within corporate real estate, design & construct, workplace strategy, or education sectors.

  • Consultative selling style with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to navigate long sales cycles and complex buying groups.

  • Self-driven, commercially sharp and comfortable working autonomously.

  • A passion for modern workplace technology and space optimisation solutions.
