Your new role
Join a dynamic contact centre team as a Customer Service Representative
Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers
Act as a key liaison between the public, stakeholders, and the Council department
Provide feedback and suggest process improvements to enhance customer experience
Help maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge bases, procedures, and database content
Collaborate with Customer Experience Officers and the Corporate Customer Experience Coordinator
Embrace challenges and opportunities with enthusiasm and adaptability
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated experience in a call centre role
Previous experience in a government-based call centre — highly valued
Proven customer service skills in a contact centre environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage and deescalate challenging situations
Effective research skills and quick learning of Council operations
Proficient in computer software — data entry, spreadsheets, and internal systems
Self-motivated team player with a continuous improvement mindset
