Your new role
As Coordinator Property, you will oversee the management and administration of Council-owned and leased properties. This includes coordinating leasing and licensing arrangements, ensuring compliance with legislation and policy, and optimising property utilisation. You’ll provide expert advice on property matters, manage budgets, and lead projects related to property acquisition, disposal, and maintenance. Day-to-day, you’ll liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties to resolve complex issues and deliver outcomes aligned with Council’s strategic vision.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in property or facility management, leasing, or a related field
Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and land tenure principles
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex discussions
Proven ability to manage budgets, prioritise tasks, and deliver projects on time
High-level interpersonal skills and experience handling confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude for IT systems
