Your new role

• Lead the delivery of the Procurement Strategy within a defined sourcing sub-stream.
• Define and implement category management strategies, including stakeholder engagement and opportunity planning.
• Oversee strategic sourcing, supplier segmentation, and relationship management.
• Manage reporting on procurement deliverables, including KPIs, benefits, and compliance obligations.
• Drive market sustainability and minimise supply chain risks through strong stakeholder relationships.
• Lead and mentor Category Managers and contribute to organisational capability.
• Represent the organisation in industry forums and support health services in procurement governance and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to risk, governance, and probity frameworks.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management within the health sector.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound knowledge of procurement governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, financial, and reporting capabilities.
• A relevant qualification in procurement, commerce, or business administration (postgraduate preferred).
