PMO Analyst I Contract until December 2026

Location: Clayton, VIC
Contract Rate: $650 per day plus superannuation
Duration: Contract until December 2026


Your new role

Reporting to the PMO Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting strategic transformation initiatives. You’ll be responsible for financial forecasting, actuals tracking, resource planning, and governance reporting across multiple workstreams. Your expertise with Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence) will ensure transparency and compliance in delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

Technical & Analytical Skills
  • Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, accruals, variance analysis, cost modelling
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, charts); Power BI or similar tools
  • Jira & Confluence proficiency (JQL, dashboards, governance integration)
  • Experience with RAID logs, resourcing trackers, governance registers


Project / PMO Experience
  • Executive-level reporting and presentation pack preparation
  • Exposure to Agile and hybrid delivery models
  • Familiarity with change control, risk management, and governance frameworks (P3O, PRINCE2, Agile Fundamentals)


Soft Skills
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
  • High attention to detail and structured approach
  • Analytical thinker with a knack for spotting patterns and improvement opportunities
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments
