Your new role

As a Commercial and Procurement Specialist, you will support a major technology transformation program by leading the commercial delivery of acquisition and support contracts. You’ll provide expert advice on procurement planning, contract management, and supplier performance, ensuring alignment with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and value-for-money principles.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing commercial relationships with key vendors and stakeholders

• Advising on contract obligations, milestones, and risk mitigation

• Leading procurement activities and negotiations

• Drafting and managing contract documentation and change processes

• Supporting governance forums and reporting to program boards

• Driving commercial assurance across a complex supplier ecosystem

What you'll need to succeed

• 12+ years’ experience in complex contract and supplier performance management

• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills

• Demonstrated experience in large-scale program environments

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law or related field

• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance

• Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
