Your new role

As the Senior Originator, you will lead the development and execution of energy contracting strategies, focusing on long-term revenue agreements with large corporates, industrials, and electricity retailers. You’ll own the full origination lifecycle, from market strategy and buyer engagement to deal structuring and contract execution. This role is pivotal in shaping the commercial position of the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

• 8+ years of experience in energy contract origination, corporate PPAs, or structured energy product sales
• Proven track record of closing complex commercial energy transactions
• Strong network and senior-level relationships across the Australian energy market
• Deep understanding of electricity markets and renewable energy contract structures
• Strategic mindset with strong financial acumen
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
• Degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, Law, or related discipline (MBA advantageous)
• Willingness to travel domestically as required
