Your New Role
You will be responsible for:
  • Lead the development and delivery of pricing policy initiatives, ensuring frameworks are economically sound, transparent, and aligned with reform goals.
  • Manage complex projects and workstreams, overseeing timelines, risks, and resources to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Apply economic and financial modelling to produce evidence-based policy advice and translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Prepare high-impact written materials, including briefings, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including providers and government bodies, to ensure policy is practical, informed, and well-communicated.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture, encouraging innovation, continuous improvement, and shared accountability.

What You Will Need to Succeed
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
  • Strong leadership in policy and program delivery, with a proven ability to manage complex initiatives from design through to implementation.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret economic and financial data and translate it into clear, actionable policy advice.
  • Exceptional written communication, with experience producing persuasive documents for senior audiences, including government and executive stakeholders.
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving ability, with a strategic mindset and the capacity to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement, demonstrating collaboration, influence, and the ability to build trusted relationships across sectors.

The Logistics
  • 12-month contract with possibility of extension or permanency.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Daily rate of $754.20 (ex GST daily) + super.
  • Opportunities based in Richmond, Geelong, Surry Hills, Parramatta, and Deakin.
  • Australian Citizenship is required.
