My client is currently seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company known for its commitment to innovation, safety, and professional development.

Your new role

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems across the site.
• Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on control systems and field instruments.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
• Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and company procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and system performance.

What you'll need to succeed

• Certificate III or IV in Electrical or Instrumentation (or equivalent trade qualification).
• Current electrical licence (if applicable).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a similar E&I role within an industrial or resource sector.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation systems.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
