Your new role

• Leading the design and implementation of robust data engineering solutions
• Managing and enhancing enterprise data platforms
• Providing expert guidance across university-wide ICT initiatives
• Ensuring data security, reliability, and alignment with best practices
• Supporting service continuity and disaster recovery strategies

What you'll need to succeed

• A relevant degree and extensive experience in data engineering
• Proven expertise with large datasets, databases, and ETL pipelines
• Proficiency in modern tools and platforms (e.g., AWS, DevOps, Power BI, GitHub)
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with virtualised server environments and cloud-based architectures

• AWS Certification
• Experience with integration tools and platforms
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and Confluence
