HR Advisor

Generalist HR Advisor opportunity for an 18-month fixed term contract
Our client is a WA success story who started off small, grew organically and now is part of a much larger group of companies.

This exciting integration has created the opportunity for an experienced, generalist HR Advisor to join their team.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the people strategies including:
  • Provision of generalist advice
  • Coaching and development of line management
  • Supporting the recruitment and onboarding process
  • Facilitation of inductions
  • Assisting with performance management, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Supporting the annual performance review, remuneration review and personal development plans
  • Preparation and compilation of month-end and year-end people reports
  • Supporting the development of new position descriptions and maintaining an uptodate organisational structure chart
  • Ad hoc projects including systems and process implementation
To be successful in your application, you will ideally be an immediately available or available at short notice generalist HR Advisor with experience from within the mining and resources or heavy industrial sectors. You will possess strong analytical and reporting skills coupled with outstanding written and verbal communication. A contemporary working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards is essential.

This position is based in Perth's Northern Suburbs and will be offered on the basis of an 18-month fixed-term contract.
