Hays has partnered with a leading engineering and services client, who has a strong reputation Australia wide for delivering high-quality projects in sectors such as defence, energy and utilities, transport, resources and technology. With the new project site up and running and a well-established, collaborative and friendly team on site, they are now seeking a capable Project Administrator to join them in Maragle NSW. The team currently consists of locals, FIFO and DIDO members who stay in Tumbarumba during the week and convoy together to the Maragle site.
Your new role
As a Project Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the overall team's administration needs as they progress through the delivery of a major infrastructure project. You will work closely with the Project Manager and site teams to ensure all administrative functions are in line with the project's requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as a Project Administrator in construction or property-related fields or previous exposure to projects in similar sectors is highly regarded. Alternatively, a business administration certificate/degree and 2 years' minimum experience in blue-collar sectors will also be highly regarded.
Must be willing to self obtain a Construction White card prior to starting in the position (Must have a WC to be on-site)
Must be an Australian citizen or hold permanent working rights with the ability to obtain a clear National Police Check
Must hold a valid, clear Australian driving licence and be willing to DIDO – must be willing to travel to and stay in Tumbarumba throughout the work week, with the team travelling to the Maragle site at the beginning and end of each day.

Great multitasking capabilities and confidence working across multiple systems
