Your new role
As a Lending Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of lending transactions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and processes. You’ll work closely with front-line bankers, brokers, solicitors & customers to support home loan processing across various stages of the loan process, including construction, fund disbursement and loan maintenance.

Your role will include but not be limited to:
  • Review & verify loan documents for eligibility, compliance & authenticity
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders with a high focus on delivering results to customers
  • Communicate with bankers, brokers & solicitors
  • Monitor inboxes and respond to requests from front-line bankers and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and meet critical deadlines around loan settlement
  • Perform 1st line of defence and adhere to risk frameworks and policies.
  • Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by inputting the correct information in core NAB systems and in line with team processes

The Details
  • Location: 700 Bourke Street (MEL) OR 3 Paramatta Square (SYD)
  • Duration: 12-month temporary contact
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Business Hours
  • Hybrid: 12 weeks full time in the office then 3 days PW
  • Remuneration: $51.54 + Super + Super
  • Start date: 10th November Onwards

What you'll need to succeed
  • Prior credit assessment experience is mandatory.
  • The ideal candidate will have previously held a secured lending DCA or DLA
  • Experience working closely with mortgages and loan document processing
  • Proven ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and time management skills
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
