Your new role

  • Lead development and delivery of environmental strategies, including climate adaptation and sustainable procurement.
  • Integrate climate risk into Council decision-making and build organisational capacity.

  • Advise senior leaders, Council, and the community on climate adaptation and procurement.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental science or extensive relevant experience.
  • Strong background in environmental strategy, climate risk management, and sustainable procurement.
  • Proven leadership in embedding sustainability across large organisations.
  • Deep knowledge of integrated water management, climate adaptation, and procurement practices.
  • Understanding of Local Government operations and relevant Victorian/Commonwealth legislation.
