Your new role

As Financial Controller, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the full finance function and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering strong career progression within a growing and collaborative team.

• Manage the full accounting cycle
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with ASIC requirements, AFSL obligations, and internal policies
• Lead and mentor finance staff, fostering a high-performing and efficient team
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights to senior leadership
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
• Background in mortgage funds, managed investment schemes, or financial services highly regarded
• CPA or CA qualification preferred
• Strong technical accounting, compliance, and financial analysis skills
• Working knowledge of AFSL compliance and ASIC reporting standards
• High proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite
