Your new role

You will be instrumental in delivering construction and maintenance services across a variety of government projects. This includes working on sites throughout Cairns, Gordonvale, and Yarrabah. The initial engagement is for a short-term refurbishment project, with the potential for extension and a pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate.

What you'll need to succeed

• Trade Qualified Carpenter
• You are self-motivated, have a can-do attitude and are a team player
• Construction White Card
• Have a keen eye for detail and high standard of workmanship
• Conduct work that complies with job requirements and relevant legislation
• Working with Children’s Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Driver’s licence and own transport
