Hays is the global leader for specialised recruitment. We are recruiting for an experienced Parts / Stores Officer to join a globally established and respected engineering business working in the mining sector.
Your new role
70% Computer & 30% Warehousing
Receiving orders from clients and digging for more detail.
Sourcing and buying parts.
Finding parts in-house through part numbers and locations.
Receiving parts for maintenance or receiving from suppliers.
Dispatching parts for clients going to sites all across Western Australia.
Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Working as an individual with full accountability.
Manual handling.
Liaising with the workshop for needs, orders, maintenance requirements, etc.
What you'll need to succeed
You MUST be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for this role as it is a permanent position.
Forklift ticket.
Strong computer skills.
Experience using systems within a Logistics environment.
Experience with hands-on warehousing and operating forklifts.
Ability to conduct manual handling.
Ability to work as an individual and be self-motivated.
