Your new role

As the Integrated Planning and Reporting Officer, you’ll help the Council stay on track with its big-picture goals. You’ll support planning, reporting, and performance tracking across the organisation, making sure everyone is working together and heading in the right direction.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Helping create and update important plans like the Community Strategic Plan and Operational Plan
  • Supporting teams with planning tools and software
  • Tracking progress and reporting on how well the Council is meeting its goals
  • Running surveys to understand what the community needs
  • Working with different teams to improve how things are done
  • Helping organise strategic forums and corporate projects
  • Making sure everything follows safety and legal rules

What you'll need to succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a degree or strong experience in planning, reporting, or a similar field
  • Is confident using computers and can help others learn systems.
  • Can write clearly and communicate well with different people.
  • Organised and can meet deadlines
  • Enjoys working with teams and solving problems
Bonus points if you:

  • Know about NSW’s Integrated Planning and Reporting framework
  • Have worked in local government before
  • Have experience in business planning
  • Hold a Class C driving licence
