Your new role

As the National Sales Manager, you will lead the strategic direction and operational management of the Sales Department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting national market and technology research.
  • Developing and executing strategies for sales growth.
  • Overseeing distribution channels and new product development.
  • Managing departmental budgets and staff performance.
  • Recruiting, training, and motivating the sales team.
  • Driving regional sales growth across Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, and PNG.
  • Launching new products and creating market opportunities.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and reporting monthly insights.
  • Managing customer relationships and distributor development.
  • Planning and executing marketing activities including trade shows and product training.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and health & safety standards.
  • Supporting negotiations and trading terms with customers.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a similar industry, ideally involving wholesale tools or equipment for industrial sectors.
  • Strong leadership and staff management experience.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to drive growth across multiple regions.

  • Experience managing budgets and departmental performance.
