As a Field Service HD Fitter, you’ll be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of heavy mobile equipment in remote site environments. This FIFO role offers flexible rosters and exposure to a wide variety of gear and locations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform breakdown repairs, diagnostics, and scheduled maintenance on HME and ancillary gear
Travel to multiple sites for field service work
Maintain accurate service records and reports
Uphold safety standards and company procedures
Deliver professional, client-facing service across diverse environments
What We’re Looking For
Trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic / Fitter
Experienced with all major OEM HME gear such as CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi, as well as all major ancillary gear
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills; Air Con Ticket preferred
Proficient in CAT ET, SIS, and similar computer systems
Must be client-facing, professional, and confident working independently across multiple sites
Bonus if already site inducted with Rio Tinto, FMG, BHP, Roy Hill, Mine Res, etc.
Valid Australian driver’s licence (HR preferred)
