Victorian government department is hiring a UI
Developer responsible for building secure, scalable Azure-based project. . This role focusses on crafting intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces using modern front-end technologies. You’ll work closely with designers and developers to bring digital experiences to life, ensuring seamless interaction and performance across platforms.


Your new role

  • Develop and maintain user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Ensure UI components are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Integrate front-end components with backend services and APIs.
  • Utilize Microsoft Azure services for deployment and performance optimization.
  • Maintain code quality through testing, reviews, and adherence to best practices.


What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be a strong communicator with technical and non-technical Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure in a front-end development context.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries.
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
