Your new role

This newly established role sits within the in-house legal team’s dedicated technology pillar. You’ll collaborate with seasoned legal professionals who bring deep expertise in technology law, supporting internal stakeholders on high-impact, cutting-edge matters. A key part of your remit will be contributing to the rollout of transformative AI initiatives across the organisation. The role offers lots of variety, from negotiating complex technology agreements, assisting with shaping policies and processes while also staying ahead of evolving global regulatory landscapes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Admitted to practice as a lawyer in Australia
• Ideally, between 4–7 years PAE
• Expertise in technology and commercial law
• Experience gained in a mid-tier/top-tier law firm and/or in-house within a reputable company
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements
