Your new role
As an APS5 Practice Management Support Officer, you will provide critical support across legal and corporate functions. You will be responsible for:
• Processing subpoenas, including complex matters
• Coordinating matters before the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART), including compiling documents and preparing section 23 statements
• Liaising with external agencies regarding disclosure obligations and subpoena material
• Assisting with accommodation planning and other corporate services
• Managing legal research subscriptions and coordinating training
• Supporting recruitment and other administrative activities for the Legal Group
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Eligibility for a Section 26 transfer (mandatory)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High level of initiative and sound judgement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Experience with paralegal processes and subpoena handling (desirable)
• Familiarity with departmental recruitment and administrative procedures (advantageous)
