Your new role
As a Customer Service Advisor in the Cards & Digital team, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers with enquiries about credit and debit cards, internet banking, and mobile app usage. This inbound call centre role involves managing 40–60 calls per day, providing tailored solutions and exceptional service.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle enquiries related to lost/replacement cards, balance transfers, cross-product transfers, and rewards points.
- Assist customers with digital banking and app-related queries using clear, simple communication.
- Deliver fast, empathetic service while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Educate customers on products and services, offering relevant solutions.
- Navigate multiple systems and collaborate with your team to stay up to date on policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Full working rights in Australia and availability for 38 hours per week
- Previous experience in customer service—retail, hospitality, call centre, or banking
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping customers
- Ability to follow processes, manage time pressures, and handle difficult conversations with resilience
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and development
