Your new role
Your role will be to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Residential Aged Care (RAC) services, ensuring that all high-quality, person-centred care meets legislative, accreditation, and financial requirements. This role is pivotal in enhancing facility performance and integrates with a broader general management team overseeing home care and retirement living. The position also advises the EGM on sector trends and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:Lead resident services with a focus on Consumer Directed Care, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with Aged Care Standards.
Drive occupancy strategies including respite and short-term stay models.
Oversee allied health, hotel services, and maintenance in collaboration with Property Division.
Develop and implement efficient rostering and workforce planning systems.
Champion service improvement initiatives to enhance the resident experience.
Support RAC Managers in maintaining professional competency and scope of practice.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to improve clinical and non-clinical outcomes.
Promote a culture aligned with organisational values and person-centred care.
Lead high-performing teams through expert guidance, change management, and innovation.
Develop policies and procedures that ensure safe, quality care delivery.
Build strategic relationships with universities, hospitals, and health services.
Monitor and manage regional leadership performance and development.
Role model leadership behaviours and drive strategic change initiatives.
