This university is looking for a Security Engineer. You will have the opportunity of working at an established university based in Sydney.

Your new role

Your role is pivotal in enhancing the university's detection, investigation, and response capabilities across a modern security stack.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a SOC or similar environment.
• Hands-on with major SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).
• Experience with EDR/XDR tools (e.g., Cortex XDR, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
• Familiarity with SOAR platforms (e.g., XSOAR, Splunk SOAR).
• Experience with Google Chronicle SIEM & SOAR is highly preferred.
• Cortex XDR troubleshooting and triage.
• MISP and Mandiant Threat Intelligence integration.
• Cloud security experience (GCP, AWS, Azure).
