Your new role
You will be brought on board initially for 6 months to assist with preparation of new policy proposals. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Support the development, analysis, and implementation of policy initiatives
- Conduct research and prepare briefings, reports, and ministerial correspondence
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide policy advice.
- Monitor emerging issues and contribute to strategic planning
- Assist with coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement activities

- Previous APS5 Experience
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively
- Sound judgement and attention to detail
- A commitment to integrity, professionalism, and public service values
Eligibility
- Australian citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance
- Relevant qualifications or experience in public policy, economics, law, science, or a related field are desirable.
