Your new role

• Oversee all aspects of taxation compliance and support requirements across a diverse group of business units and entities
• Prepare and manage tax obligations, including FBT, annual income tax returns, fuel tax credits, and research & development claims.
• Provide strategic taxation planning and advice to senior management
• Identify and assess tax risk areas, ensuring compliance and mitigation strategies are in place
• Review and process expenditure authorisation requests
• Asset disposals, transfers and verifications
• Running monthly depreciation journals
• Maintenance of fixed asset registers
• Preparation of monthly management and board reports
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, corporate plans, and forecasts

What you'll need to succeed

• CA/ CPA qualified first mover from chartered or someone looking to make their second move within industry.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Well-organised and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and influencing abilities across teams and stakeholders
• Comfortable navigating complex tax matters and contributing strategic insights
