Your New Role
You will be responsible for:
- Lead and support impactful consultation initiatives, contributing to workforce change across a major government agency.
- Work closely with senior leadership, supporting executive-level decision-making.
- Gain hands-on experience in project coordination, using government-standard tools and frameworks to manage workflows and milestones.
- Collaborate across divisions, building strong internal networks and contributing to cross-functional projects.
- Enhance skills in stakeholder engagement, HR processes, and strategic communication in a public sector setting.

What You Will Need to Succeed
The successful applicant will:
- Thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple tasks, prioritising effectively, and maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to write high-quality briefs and presentations, distil complex information clearly, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Apply sound judgment and analytical skills to solve problems, manage risk, and interpret data.
- Proficient in office software, discreet with sensitive information, and ideally experienced in government or public sector environments.
- Capable of supporting multiple projects, managing risks and budgets, preparing reports, and engaging confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
The Logistics
- 12-month contract with possibility of extension or permanency.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Hourly rate of $55.24 + super.
- Opportunities based in Geelong, Richmond, Newcastle.
