Your New Company

Your New Role
You will be responsible for:

  • Lead and support impactful consultation initiatives, contributing to workforce change across a major government agency.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, supporting executive-level decision-making.
  • Gain hands-on experience in project coordination, using government-standard tools and frameworks to manage workflows and milestones.
  • Collaborate across divisions, building strong internal networks and contributing to cross-functional projects.
  • Enhance skills in stakeholder engagement, HR processes, and strategic communication in a public sector setting.
  • Be part of a purpose-driven team culture, with opportunities to contribute ideas, take initiative, and support meaningful transformation.

What You Will Need to Succeed
The successful applicant will:

  • Thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple tasks, prioritising effectively, and maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to write high-quality briefs and presentations, distil complex information clearly, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Apply sound judgment and analytical skills to solve problems, manage risk, and interpret data.
  • Proficient in office software, discreet with sensitive information, and ideally experienced in government or public sector environments.
  • Capable of supporting multiple projects, managing risks and budgets, preparing reports, and engaging confidently with internal and external stakeholders.

The Logistics
  • 12-month contract with possibility of extension or permanency.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Hourly rate of $55.24 + super.
  • Opportunities based in Geelong, Richmond, Newcastle.
