Hays Facilities Management have short and long-term contract work in SEQ for Facilities Specialists looking for temporary work.
We are currently seeking a contract Facilities Manager to work on a commercial portfolio based in and around the Brisbane area.
Your new role
Duties will include:
- Oversee the daily operations of building facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and security
- Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and issues
- Plan and oversee renovations and refurbishments
- Maintain accurate records of facility operations and maintenance activities
- Travel to other sites may be required.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Facilities Manager, be immediately available and have recent references from your previous employer.
You will be well-presented and have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
