Your new role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead data transformation initiatives using Azure cloud services. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering robust data integration solutions, including ETL pipelines, data modelling, governance, and analytics. Your work will directly contribute to the development of a scalable organisational data warehouse and support advanced analytics use cases.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in data engineering, data modelling, and analytics on Azure platforms
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2), Delta Lake, and Azure Databricks
• Strong proficiency in Power BI and Git-based CI/CD practices
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions
• Experience implementing data governance frameworks using Azure Purview
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of SLA metrics (RTO, RPO) and data quality standards
• Familiarity with project planning, budgeting, and licence management
• Commitment to continuous improvement and audit compliance
