A highly sought-after South Australian Government department is seeking a Communications Advisor to join their team. This contract is available for an immediate start for 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
Your new role
You will support a range of communication activities across internal channels, employee engagement, and digital content creation. This position suits a well-rounded communications professional who is comfortable working across multiple formats including newsletters, intranet content, executive messaging, communications planning/implementation, and team updates.
You’ll liaise with internal stakeholders to plan and implement effective communication strategies that align with departmental priorities. Your ability to deliver clear, targeted, and consistent messaging across a variety of platforms will be key to your success.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in Government or a large organisation is highly desirable
- Excellent writing and content creation skills
- Confidence working across internal comms and digital platforms
- Ability to interpret complex information into clear messaging
- Sound project coordination and stakeholder engagement experience
- Immediate availability for the duration of the contract
- A valid National Police Check
