Your new role
As a Senior Statutory Planner, you’ll provide expert advice on planning matters, assess complex development applications, contribute to planning policy, and support strategic planning initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes aligned with planning legislation and community goals. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement for greater flexibility.
What you'll need to succeed
A degree in Urban and Regional Planning
Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in statutory planning, ideally within Local Government
Strong knowledge of planning legislation, schemes, and policies
Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills
Ability to assess development applications and prepare detailed reports and recommendations
