As part of a broader reform agenda, they are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Practice Manager to lead a regional team and drive service excellence across a multi-stream housing support hub.
Your new role
In this leadership position, you will oversee the operational delivery of intake, assessment, referral, and brief intervention services within a regional housing support hub. You will manage a diverse team of frontline staff, including caseworkers, application specialists, and after-hours responders, ensuring service consistency and alignment with evidence-based practice frameworks.
You will be responsible for embedding practice coherency and model fidelity across service streams, supporting staff development, and driving innovation in service delivery. The role also involves contributing to sector-wide reform initiatives, facilitating communities of practice, and ensuring services are responsive to local needs. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strategic thinking, operational oversight, and a deep understanding of strengths-based approaches to client support.
What you'll need to succeedTo thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams within the housing, homelessness, or broader community services sector
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based service models and practice development frameworks
- Proven ability to manage complex service environments and drive continuous improvement
- Exceptional communication, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A collaborative leadership style with a focus on staff development and model fidelity
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, community services, psychology, or a related discipline
