Your new role
Senior Salesforce Developer within the team will undertake the maintenance of multiple applications supporting the organisation's digital Salesforce platforms. This includes solution design, development, monitoring and support, tuning, and deployment of services across the operational function and multiple delivery projects.
In this role you will,
- Lead and undertake ongoing system administration functions including;
- Salesforce administration duties including troubleshooting, acting as final escalation point for support issues, proactively manage the triage, prioritisation and support of Salesforce requests, working collaboratively with other team members
- Solution implementation, data management and integrity, reporting and dashboard development and maintenance, designing and building scalable solutions aligned with business needs, and the set up and management of internal and community users.
- Lead and implement the setup and maintenance of test labs (sandboxes) for the Salesforce platform.
- Strong technical know-how around git and its branching strategy to efficiently maintain broader development pipeline.
- Proactively manage the triage, prioritisation and support of test labs within product and project delivery, collaboratively working with other team members.
- Responsible for the management of the technologies and processes to support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment delivery practices for the Salesforce platform.
- Co-ordinate between cross-functional teams (development, QA, business units) to ensure alignment on release timelines, priorities and requirements.
- Technically review vendor documentation, proposed solutions and configurations.
- Proactively identify process and workflows gaps to provide support and expertise to delivery teams and provide stakeholders with recommendations that lead to the implementation of effective solutions.
- Lead the review of regular releases from Salesforce to identify any impacts or features that would provide benefit to business, customers or backend processes.
- Thorough knowledge sharing and advocacy and grow the Salesforce Administration practice.
- Develop, maintain and deploy Salesforce products whilst engaging in continuous improvement of a roadmap of features, as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology and/or Business, combined with Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Admin, Service Cloud, Platform Dev I, Omnistudio).
- Substantial hands-on experience as System Administrator on the Salesforce Platform with advanced configuration, security and permissions management.
- The ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, process builders, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity within the Salesforce platform.
- Experience with integrated products and processes around SMS Management, Document Generation (Conga, DocuSign etc.), Form Application and Data Management tools, as well as experience in working with Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Vlocity/ Omnistudio, Field Services Lightning Functionality including Entitlements and Console.
