Your new role

This hybrid role combines financial systems support with hands on accounting responsibilities. You will act as the bridge between finance and IT, while also contributing to core financial processes which includes:

  • Provide first-line support for finance systems including Excel, M365 and PowerBI
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new modules
  • Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Maintain system data integrity and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to improve workflows and reporting tools
  • Develop training materials and deliver system training to finance staff

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in finance systems support and financial accounting

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., M365, PowerBI, Excel)

  • Solid reconciliation skills and understanding of accounting principles

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems

  • CPA/CA qualification (or working towards) highly regarded
