FIFO HR Business Partner

This is an opportunity to work on an 8:6 FIFO roster as an HR Business Partner with a top-tier mining contractor on a gold site.

You will act as the first point of contact on site for all human resources functions and, through effective guidance and coaching of both leaders and employees, you will enhance performance and culture within a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

Duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Partnering with the management and leadership teams to raise capability and accountability for people solutions
  • Provision of generalist human resources advice on all policies, legislation, processes, and procedures
  • Lead all employee relations, including case investigations, grievances and disciplinaries, and performance management
  • Supporting the annual cyclical human resources functions, including performance reviews, talent management and remuneration reviews
  • Facilitation of training to ensure contemporary compliance
  • Maintain data analytics and reporting
  • Collaborate to ensure psychosocial safety and wellbeing
To be successful in your application, you will possess a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or a related qualification coupled with prior business partnering experience, ideally from within the mining and resources or related sectors. You will excel in your stakeholder management, workforce engagement and collaborate through effective verbal and written communication.

You must be able to commit to a FIFO lifestyle and an 8:6 roster ex-Perth.

It is essential that you have a comprehensive working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards for Australia.
