Your new role

The Mortgage Broker is responsible for the end-to-end management of mortgage applications across both residential and commercial lending. The role involves direct client and lender engagement, collaboration with the Principal Broker on complex scenarios, and a commitment to best practice in compliance and customer service. A full-time in-house loan processor supports the role, with no expectation to self-generate business during the initial stages.

• Manage the full lending process from initial enquiry through to settlement and post-settlement service
• Conduct detailed client needs assessments and provides strategic loan structuring advice
• Perform servicing calculations and interpret financial documents
• Liaise with lenders, BDMs, and credit assessors for timely outcomes
• Collaborate with the Principal Broker on complex loan scenarios

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (Diploma preferred)
• Member of MFAA or FBAA
• Experience as a mortgage broker or credit adviser
• Knowledge of residential and commercial lending products
• Ability to interpret financials and perform servicing assessments
• Competence with aggregator platforms and lender portals
• High attention to detail and compliance focus
• Strong organisational and communication skills
