This well-regarded infrastructure consultancy is seeking a Senior Planner to join our dynamic team in their Sydney, the Central Coast, or Newcastle offices. Your new role

As a valued member of our planning team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality town planning services across a diverse range of projects, both in the office and on-site. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and progress tracking to achieve successful outcomes.

• Provide regular updates and strategic insights to your Manager and Directors to support informed decision-making.

• Offer sound planning advice to colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, drawing on your technical knowledge and relevant legislation experience.

• Foster strong working relationships through proactive liaison and coordination with clients, sub-consultants, authorities, and contractors.

• Assess town planning reports and supporting documentation prepared by others to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Conduct site visits to inform planning decisions and verify project alignment with planning objectives.

• Actively participate in client meetings, contributing to collaborative discussions and delivering practical, solution-focused outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have a relevant tertiary qualification in planning as well as relevant industry experience of minimum 5 years’ working in a planning consultancy.
